Lighting & Accessory Installation FAQ
Answers to common questions about rock lights, underglow, switch panels, auxiliary lights, customer-supplied parts, scheduling, pricing, vehicles we work on, and service areas.
What services does Red White & Glow offer?
Red White & Glow installs rock lights, wheel lights, whip lights, vehicle underglow, auxiliary lighting, LED pods, light bars, fog lights, ditch lights, reverse lights, switch panels, trailer lights, golf cart lights, UTV lights, bumpers, winches, and custom accessory wiring.
What vehicles do you install lighting and accessories on?
We work on Jeeps, Ford Broncos, Toyota Tacomas, Toyota 4Runners, trucks, SUVs, UTVs, ATVs, RZRs, golf carts, trailers, and cars. Every setup is planned around the vehicle, mounting options, wiring route, control method, and how the customer uses it.
Do you install customer-supplied lighting kits?
Yes. We install customer-supplied lights and accessories when the products are compatible and safe to wire correctly. If a product is poor quality, unsafe, missing parts, or not a good fit for the vehicle, we will tell you before installing it.
How much does lighting installation cost?
Pricing depends on the product, number of lights, vehicle type, wiring complexity, control method, and whether additional parts are needed. A simple lighting install costs less than a full custom setup with multiple zones, switch panel integration, and hidden wiring. The fastest way to get accurate pricing is to send your vehicle, pictures, and what you want installed.
How long does a typical install take?
Many lighting installs can be completed in a few hours, but timing depends on the vehicle and complexity. Rock lights, wheel lights, switch panels, bumpers, winches, underglow, and multi-accessory builds can take longer because proper routing, fuse protection, and clean mounting take time.
Do I need a switch panel for my lights or accessories?
Not always, but a switch panel is often the cleanest way to control multiple accessories. Switch panels are a good choice if you plan to run rock lights, pods, bars, whips, reverse lights, compressors, or future add-ons. They help keep the install organized, expandable, and easier to service.
Can rock lights and underglow be installed together?
Yes. Rock lights and underglow are often paired together. Rock lights help with underbody and wheel well lighting, while underglow creates a cleaner glow around the vehicle. Together they create a full lighting package for trail visibility, shows, events, and custom builds.
Are your installs safe for daily driving?
Yes. Our installs are built with proper fuse protection, clean routing, secure mounting, and protected wiring. We avoid hacked wiring, loose connections, and unsafe shortcuts. For road use, certain colors and flashing patterns may need to be avoided depending on local laws.
Do you install auxiliary lighting like pods, light bars, ditch lights, and fog lights?
Yes. We install auxiliary lighting including LED pods, light bars, ditch lights, fog lights, reverse lights, scene lights, and other visibility upgrades. We can also wire them into factory auxiliary switches or an aftermarket switch panel when compatible.
Do you install wheel lights and whip lights?
Yes. We install wheel lights, whip lights, laser whips, RGB lighting, golf cart lighting, and UTV lighting. These installs need secure mounting and clean wiring so they hold up to vibration, weather, and regular use.
Do you install bumpers and winches?
Yes. We install aftermarket bumpers and winches, including clean winch wiring and accessory integration when needed. Bumper and winch installs can also be paired with auxiliary lights, fog lights, switch panels, and recovery accessories.
Do you serve areas outside Manchester, TN?
Yes. We are based in Manchester, TN and serve Coffee County, Tullahoma, Murfreesboro, Shelbyville, McMinnville, Winchester, Nashville, and surrounding Middle Tennessee areas. Customers also travel from farther away for professional installs.
