Our Workmanship
Installation defects caused by Red White & Glow workmanship are covered for 12 months from the original installation date.
We stand behind the quality of our installation work. This policy explains our workmanship warranty, manufacturer product warranties, warranty replacement labor, physical damage exclusions, and how warranty claims are handled.
Product warranties and installation warranties are not the same. Here is the simplest way to understand Red White & Glow warranty coverage.
Installation defects caused by Red White & Glow workmanship are covered for 12 months from the original installation date.
Defective products are covered according to the applicable manufacturer's warranty. Manufacturer replacement does not automatically include removal or installation labor.
Damage caused by tires, wheels, valve stems, road debris, trail use, vehicle modifications, accidents, or other outside causes is generally not considered a workmanship defect.
Every warranty concern is evaluated based on the condition of the installation, wiring, components, vehicle, and the circumstances of the failure. If Red White & Glow determines that our workmanship caused the issue during the applicable warranty period, we will correct the affected installation without charging labor for that warranty repair.

Red White & Glow provides a 12-month limited workmanship warranty beginning on the original installation date for installation work performed by Red White & Glow.
This may include installation-related defects involving:
If the problem is determined to have been caused by our workmanship during the warranty period, Red White & Glow will correct the affected installation at no labor charge.
Products sold or installed by Red White & Glow may include a manufacturer's warranty. Manufacturer warranties are separate from the Red White & Glow workmanship warranty and are controlled by the manufacturer's own terms and conditions.
The manufacturer determines whether a product qualifies for repair, replacement, or other warranty coverage.
Red White & Glow may assist customers with eligible manufacturer warranty claims for products purchased through us when appropriate.
A manufacturer providing a replacement product does not automatically mean removal and replacement labor is free.
Unless labor is specifically covered or reimbursed by the manufacturer, the customer may be responsible for labor required to diagnose, remove, reinstall, reconnect, program, pair, reassemble, or test a warranty replacement product.
Red White & Glow may reduce or waive a labor charge as a goodwill accommodation at our discretion. A goodwill repair does not create additional warranty coverage for future damage or failures.
An inspection or diagnostic evaluation may be necessary before warranty coverage can be determined.
If the issue is determined to be covered under the Red White & Glow workmanship warranty, applicable warranty repair labor will be provided at no charge.
If the problem results from a defective product, physical damage, another vehicle problem, work performed by another party, or another non-covered cause, diagnostic or repair labor may be charged.
Physical damage occurring after installation is not considered a workmanship defect unless Red White & Glow determines that improper installation directly caused the damage.
Examples include wiring or components that have been:
Wheel lights operate in an area containing rotating wheels, tires, brakes, steering components, suspension components, valve stems, and other moving parts. Because of this, wheel-light wiring and components are particularly exposed to physical damage.
Red White & Glow's workmanship warranty covers installation defects caused by our workmanship. It does not generally cover physical damage resulting from contact with:
If wheel-light wiring is physically torn, pulled, cut, crushed, or otherwise damaged, Red White & Glow will evaluate the installation and surrounding components to determine the likely cause.
Many of the products installed by Red White & Glow are used on Jeeps, trucks, UTVs, side-by-sides, and other vehicles that may be operated off-road.
Off-road use by itself does not automatically eliminate workmanship warranty coverage. However, physical damage caused by trail conditions or other outside forces is not covered as an installation defect.
This may include damage caused by:
Waterproof and water-resistant ratings are established by the product manufacturer. Red White & Glow does not independently guarantee a product beyond the manufacturer's stated specifications.
Water intrusion caused by a product defect may be subject to the manufacturer's warranty.
Water damage resulting from damaged housings, damaged connectors, damaged wiring, improper cleaning, pressure washing, excessive submersion, physical damage, or alterations is not covered as a workmanship defect unless our installation directly caused the issue.
Products supplied by the customer are not warranted by Red White & Glow. Our workmanship warranty applies only to the installation work we perform.
If a customer-supplied product is defective, incompatible, fails after installation, or requires replacement, the customer is responsible for the product warranty process and any applicable removal, diagnostic, or reinstallation labor.
Products purchased through Red White & Glow remain subject to the applicable manufacturer's warranty unless Red White & Glow expressly provides a separate written product warranty.
When possible, we may assist customers with manufacturer warranty claims. Manufacturer replacement of a product does not automatically include Red White & Glow labor.
Red White & Glow is not responsible for failures or damage caused by another business or individual modifying, disconnecting, repairing, removing, reinstalling, or altering our work.
Work performed by another party does not automatically eliminate warranty coverage for unrelated Red White & Glow workmanship. However, damage caused by that subsequent work is not covered.
Changes made to a vehicle after installation can affect wiring clearance, mounting clearance, electrical loads, and accessory operation.
Examples include:
Damage resulting from subsequent vehicle modifications is not covered as an original installation defect.
Red White & Glow is not responsible for failures caused by pre-existing or unrelated vehicle conditions.
Examples may include:
Normal wear, aging, and environmental exposure are not considered workmanship defects.
This may include:
Red White & Glow values our customers and may occasionally perform an adjustment, repair, diagnosis, or replacement at no charge or at a reduced charge even when an issue is not clearly covered by warranty.
A goodwill repair does not:
Customers experiencing an issue should contact Red White & Glow before attempting repairs or modifications whenever reasonably possible.
Please be prepared to provide:
An in-person inspection may be required before warranty coverage can be determined.
Red White & Glow may require proof of the original installation or purchase before providing warranty service.
Acceptable records may include an invoice, receipt, electronic payment record, or Red White & Glow customer records.
Red White & Glow will evaluate warranty concerns in good faith and determine, based on the available evidence, whether a failure most likely resulted from our workmanship, a defective product, physical damage, a vehicle-related condition, or another external cause.
When the exact cause cannot reasonably be determined, Red White & Glow may choose to provide a goodwill repair or adjustment. Such an accommodation does not constitute an admission that the original installation was defective.
Customers are responsible for reasonably maintaining their vehicle and installed accessories and for notifying Red White & Glow when a problem is discovered.
Exposed aftermarket lighting and wiring should be periodically inspected, particularly on vehicles frequently operated off-road or in harsh conditions.
If wiring or a component becomes loose, damaged, or appears to contact a moving vehicle component, discontinue use when practical and contact Red White & Glow.
The Red White & Glow workmanship warranty is intended to cover correction of eligible defects in the installation work we performed.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Red White & Glow is not responsible under this limited workmanship warranty for losses or expenses caused by conditions outside the covered installation work, including vehicle downtime, loss of use, towing, transportation, rental vehicles, lost income, or similar incidental expenses resulting from a product failure or excluded physical damage.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any customer right or remedy that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.
The replacement product may be covered, but removal and installation labor may still be charged unless the manufacturer covers the labor or Red White & Glow chooses to waive it.
We will inspect the installation and surrounding vehicle components. Physical damage from a tire, valve stem, suspension component, debris, or another outside cause is generally not covered as a workmanship defect.
If an eligible failure is determined to have resulted from Red White & Glow workmanship during the 12-month warranty period, we will correct the affected installation at no labor charge.
The rest of your Red White & Glow workmanship warranty is not automatically canceled, but damage caused by another party is not covered by our installation warranty.
Tell us what is happening, what product is involved, and when the installation was completed. Photos or video of the issue can help us evaluate the problem before your appointment.
